BEIJING, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks were lower in the morning session on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.92 percent to 3,237.6 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index shed 1.96 percent to 9,664.79 points at midday. ■
