SINGAPORE, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose by 7.6 percent year-on-year in February, reversing the 2.1 percent decline recorded in January, according to data released by Enterprise Singapore on Monday.
Both electronics and non-electronics NODX contributed to the growth, expanding by 6.9 percent and 7.8 percent year-on-year, respectively.
Meanwhile, non-oil re-exports surged by 12.8 percent year-on-year in February, building on the 7.3 percent increase seen in January. Gains were recorded in both electronics and non-electronics segments.
Singapore's total trade climbed 4.6 percent year-on-year in February, following a 6.6 percent rise in January, with both exports and imports driving the overall expansion. ■
