This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. Under the strategic guidance of the two countries' leaders, China-Hungary relations have been elevated to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for the new era.
Zoltan Kiszelly, director of the Center of Political Analyses at Hungary's Szazadveg Foundation, praised Hungary as a “role model” for China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) cooperation.
He highlighted Hungary’s strong ties with China, especially since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative a decade ago, and emphasized that CEEC, by prioritizing connectivity over decoupling, can achieve mutual benefits through cooperation with China.
