TASHKENT, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- As of September this year, the number of personal automobiles per 100 households in Uzbekistan reached 57, reported local media on Saturday, citing the country's statistics agency.
This marks a significant rise from 2010 when the figure stood at just 21 cars per 100 households, said the report.
Car sales in Uzbekistan for January-September this year amounted to more than 303,000, it said. ■
