ISLAMABAD, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- A military training jointly conducted by several countries kicked off on Sunday in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Pakistani military said.
The opening ceremony of the seventh International Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) Exercise-2024 was held in Pabbi area of the province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said in a statement.
The participants included Pakistan, Bahrain, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, Morocco, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Türkiye, the United States and Uzbekistan, it added.
PATS is a mission-specific and task-oriented professional military exercise organized annually in Pakistan, said the ISPR. ■
