RIO DE JANEIRO, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Yago Pikachu and Guilherme Silva scored second-half goals as Fortaleza advanced to the Copa Sudamericana final with a 2-0 home win over Corinthians on Tuesday.
Pikachu gave the hosts the lead in the semifinal second leg with a close-range finish after combining with Cristian Tarouco.
Silva doubled the advantage shortly after when he headed home following Bruno Pacheco's corner.
The result gave Fortaleza a 3-1 victory on aggregate after the sides drew 1-1 in the first leg.
Fortaleza will play either Defensa y Justicia or LDU Quito in the final at Montevideo's Centenario stadium on October 28. ■
