LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- At least one person was killed and 12 others were injured due to a road accident in south Afghanistan's Helmand province, provincial administration spokesman Mawlawi Riyaz said on Friday.
Two cars collided in the Kajaki district on Thursday afternoon, and the accident was due to reckless driving, Riyaz said.
Some of the injured were in critical condition, the official added. ■
