BEIJING, April 15 (Xinhua) -- China has started a two-month crackdown on livestreamings and short videos involving obscene, vulgar, false, gambling and other illegal contents in an effort to build a sound environment in cyberspace.
Jointly launched by the Cyberspace Administration of China, the State Taxation Administration, and the State Administration for Market Regulation, the campaign will deal with prominent issues such as wrongdoings of influencers, over-rewarding, malpractices of platform operators, and malicious marketing. ■
