Noriko Nakamura, a Japanese language teacher who has stayed in China for 20 years, raised questions related to China's "double reduction" policy to a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee.
Nakamura started teaching Japanese at a vocational school in Wuhan back in 2003 when she learned that many Chinese were showing passion for the Japanese language. She has set up a language learning and experience sharing platform for Japanese learners in China and teaches Japanese online.
Nakamura witnessed China's rapid urbanization and development of education. She has had a Q&A session with Xu Ling, a Chinese national political advisor who was in Beijing for the annual session of the CPPCC National Committee.
