CHONGQING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Hu Henghua was appointed deputy mayor and acting mayor of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Thursday.
The appointment was made at the 30th session of the Standing Committee of the fifth Chongqing Municipal People's Congress, the local legislature. The session also accepted the resignation of Tang Liangzhi from the post of Chongqing mayor. Enditem
