HONG KONG, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted 180 km N of Hirara, Japan at 13:21 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 183.5 km, was initially determined to be at 26.43 degrees north latitude and 125.30 degrees east longitude. ■
