YANGON, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- A workshop on improvement of sanitary and phytosanitary measures to promote trade of fresh fruits in Lancang-Mekong region has been launched in Myanmar's capital Nay Pyi Taw, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.
At the workshop, the improvement of sanitary and phytosanitary measures was explained, and the work processes and results were reported and discussed.
Trainings on how to eliminate pests were conducted for 140 exporters and importers of agricultural products at the workshop. ■
