Descendants of British POWs rescued during the Lisbon Maru incident returned to Dongji Island in east China's Zhejiang Province to honor the Chinese fishermen who risked their lives saving hundreds in 1942. More than 80 years later, the story of courage, sacrifice and friendship between the Chinese and British people continues to be remembered.■
