ROME, May 17, 2026 (Xinhua) -- World No. 1 Jannik Sinner defeated 23rd seed Casper Ruud 6-4, 6-4 in one hour and 45 minutes in the men's singles final at the Italian Open on Sunday, capturing his maiden Rome title and becoming the youngest player in history to complete the Career Golden Masters.
