GAZA, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Parts of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip were reduced to rubble after nearly three weeks of Israeli military operations.
At least 70 Palestinians were found dead on Friday in the refugee camp, according to local medical sources.
As Israeli forces withdrew, hundreds of residents returned from shelters to their homes in the camp to check on their properties. Some of them said the Israeli strikes had caused extensive damage to hundreds of residential units, as well as roads, water supply systems, and sewage infrastructure in the camp.
