Renowned Singaporean scholar Kishore Mahbubani refuted the notion that the Belt and Road Initiative is a debt trap on the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, calling this kind of notion is "rubbish".
He also added that "No thank-you note from Europe (to China), and that's the tragedy."
