KATHMANDU, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- People celebrated the Hindu festival of Dashain with gusto in Kathmandu, Nepal, visiting markets and preparing prayers and offerings to goddess Durga.
Dashain, the longest Hindu festival in Nepal, traditionally celebrated for two weeks, is a time for family reunions, exchange of gifts and blessings, and elaborated pujas.
