Chinese President Xi Jinping said 100,000 young Americans will be invited to visit China for exchanges and study over the next 5 years.
He made the remarks on Thursday morning while attending a welcome ceremony held by U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.
In 2023 in San Francisco, Xi proposed inviting 50,000 young Americans to China over 5 years for exchanges and study. The target has been reached this year ahead of schedule.
