"That diversity (of the Asia-Pacific region) should not be seen as an obstacle. It can be a source of strength," said Konstantinos Oikonomou, senior vice president of CNN at the opening of the Asia-Pacific Media Forum. The forum, which opened on Saturday in China's Shenzhen, has brought together more than 400 representatives from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
