SHENYANG, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Recently, heavy rainfall has caused flooding in parts of northeast China's Liaoning Province. Emergency responding workers in riverside towns and villages are working to heighten and fortify the dikes as upstream flood discharge continues to rise the water level in the river. Local officials have worked on the front line to evacuate residents and provide them with temporary relocation.
