RIYADH, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia's crude oil exports fell for the second consecutive month in April to their lowest level since January 2002, according to data updated Monday by the Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI).

The database showed that Saudi crude exports dropped to 3.986 million barrels per day in April from 4.974 million barrels per day in March.

Due to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz during the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran, Saudi crude exports fell more than 30 percent in March, down from 7.276 million barrels per day in February, according to the database.

The data also showed that Saudi crude oil production declined to 6.316 million barrels per day in April from 6.967 million barrels per day in March, also hitting its lowest level since January 2002, when JODI started recording Saudi data.
