BAISSARIYEH, Lebanon, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Family, friends, colleagues and mourners attended the funeral of journalist Amal Khali in Baisariyah cemetery, a village in southern Lebanon.
Khalil, who worked for Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, was killed on Wednesday after being trapped under rubble following Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon.
The airstrike, which occurred despite a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, has drawn widespread international condemnation.
