TAIYUAN, China, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese paddlers secured four titles at the WTT Contender Taiyuan, winning the men's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles events as the competition concluded on Sunday.

In the women's doubles final, China's Shi Xunyao and Han Feier defeated Doo Hoi Kem and Ng Wing Lam of Hong Kong, China, 3-1.

Competing together for the first time, Shi and Han displayed strong chemistry and composure throughout the match.

"This is our first time partnering, and we're delighted to have won the title," Shi said after the victory. "We communicated well throughout the match and were able to adjust our rhythm when we fell behind."

In the men's doubles final, China's Li Hechen and Wen Ruibo pulled off an upset, edging their compatriots Lin Shidong and Huang Youzheng, the world No. 3 pair, in a five-game thriller.

Li, 17, said the victory marked their best performance as a duo. "We didn't expect to beat such experienced opponents before the match," he said. "At the same time, this match exposed our shortcomings, and we will continue to train harder."

The women's singles title went to Japan's Satsuki Odo, who overcame her compatriot Hitomi Sato 4-1 in the final.

In the mixed doubles event played on Saturday, China's Huang Youzheng and Shi Xunyao defeated Wong Chun Ting and Doo Hoi Kem of Hong Kong, China, 3-1 to take the crown.
