Tehran has no faith that negotiations with Washington will yield any results, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with Al Jazeera.
"We don't see honesty... The trust level is at zero," he said, stressing that there are currently no negotiations between the two sides.
Iran, he added, has neither responded to U.S. proposals nor put forward any of its own.
Addressing reports of a potential U.S. ground operation, Araghchi said Iran was not intimidated. "There will be a lot of strength waiting for them," he warned.
