WELLINGTON, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- The dazzling aurora of vibrant colours illuminated the night sky near the Fox Glacier of New Zealand's South Island, creating a scene of fairy-tale beauty.
Auroras happen when particles from the Sun interact with gases in our atmosphere, causing beautiful displays of light in the sky.
