While parts of northern China are covered in ice and snow, tropical Hainan is welcoming its peak travel season, drawing visitors with sun, sand and sea. Since the launch of island-wide special customs operations on Dec. 18, 2025, a steady rollout of policy incentives has further boosted inbound tourism at the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP).■
