China launches Long March-12A Y1 rocket, second stage enters planned orbit

JIUQUAN, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- China launched the Long March-12A Y1 carrier rocket on Tuesday from northwest China. Its second stage entered the designated orbit, but the recovery of its first stage failed.  ■
