KABUL, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Farmers in west Afghanistan's Herat Province are busy harvesting potatoes. According to the local residents, most potatoes are grown in the Guzara district of the province. With abundant rains this year, potato cultivation has flourished, promising increased income for the hardworking farmers.
