AMMAN, March 12 (Xinhua) -- The Arabian horse is a breed of horse with historic roots on the Arabian Peninsula. With a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most easily recognizable horse breeds.
The Bedouin tribes of the desert, believing the horse to be a gift from God, told many romantic tales of the horse's beginnings.
