BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Wulingyuan Scenic area in Zhangjiajie of central China's Hunan Province is well-known for more than 3000 narrow sandstone pillars and peaks with attractive streams, pools, lakes, rivers and waterfalls. The scenic area comprises four national parks: the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzishan Mountain Nature Reserve and Yangjiajie Scenic Aera. It was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992, attracting many tourists.
