BANGALORE, India, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Artisans work on idols ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in Bangalore, India.
The Ganesh Chaturthi festival, one of the biggest Hindu festival, is celebrated in honor of the Lord Ganesha for 10 days throughout India. During the festival, idols of Lord Ganesha are installed and worshiped in temporary public shrines as well as homes.
