NANJING, July 9 (Xinhua) -- The China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), established in 1994 in east China's Suzhou, is an important inter-governmental cooperation project between China and Singapore.
Over the years, the park has continuously optimized local business environment to attract overseas enterprises and boost in-depth cooperation between Chinese and Singaporean enterprises.
To facilitate the operation and development of enterprises, service platforms such as Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) have been established in SIP in recent years.
Through such platforms, enterprises can share facilities and equipment, get support for research fund and market access.
By 2021, Singapore had invested 404 projects in Suzhou Industrial Park with registered foreign capital of 4.35 billion U.S. dollars.
Suzhou Industrial Park is working to further enhance China-Singapore cooperation in various fields and promote high-quality industrial innovation.
