SANAA, July 8 (Xinhua) -- The Old City of Sanaa, a UNESCO World Heritage site, has recently undergone a renovation project.
The Old City has a history of more than 2,500 years ago, and hosts over 6,000 houses that were built before the 11th century.
The city is known for its unique and beautiful architecture, featuring multi-story houses made of rammed earth and decorated with geometric patterns of fired bricks and white gypsum.
