ZHENGZHOU, April 12 (Xinhua) -- China's leading bus maker Yutong has implemented the "5G-enabled intelligent mobility solution" in central China's Zhengzhou, the city where Yutong has its headquarters.
To the extent of demonstrating the system, Yutong showcases an intelligent bus terminal where buses park, charge, move and depart with no human operation.
The intelligent mobility solution is built on new mobility infrastructures, such as big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
In addition to intelligent vehicles, there are smart roads.
Currently, there are 34 space capsule-shaped bus stops along the intelligent driving route of autopilot bus line 1 in Zhengzhou, which was put into trial operation in June 2020.
The autopilot bus carries a combination of technologies including autopilot driving, internet of vehicles, platform supervision, safety control and autonomous door operating and parking systems.
