Nicola Massimiliano Di Vito is a flight captain of China's Tianjin Airlines. He has been living in Tianjin for nearly 10 years with his Chinese wife Gina.
On Jan. 8, a sudden resurgence of COVID-19 infections was reported in Tianjin, a city of 14 million people.
Nicola was impressed by how the local government effectively responded to the pandemic. And he said their life was not disturbed by the Omicron variant. They are looking forward to the upcoming traditional Chinese Spring Festival.
