JERUSALEM, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Tel Aviv is currently experiencing sustained and severe airstrikes from Iran as part of a significant regional escalation.
As of Monday, multiple waves of ballistic missiles and drones have targeted the city and its surrounding metropolitan area, causing confirmed impacts on residential, commercial, and critical infrastructure.
On Monday, a missile attack from Iran killed a construction worker in Yehud, east of Tel Aviv, bringing the total death toll in Israel since the beginning of the conflict on Feb. 28 to 11.
