NEW YORK, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- At least 12 people, including six children, were injured in a shooting near Florida A&M University's Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida, late Saturday night, local authorities said.
Eleven of the 12 victims sustained gunshot wounds, with at least three suffering serious injuries. The remaining nine victims were in stable condition, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
A preliminary investigation indicated that a fight broke out before the shooting, police said, adding that no arrests had been made.
The shooting occurred in a crowded area near the stadium following a football game during the university's homecoming weekend. ■
