LOS ANGELES, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and two others were injured after a small plane crashed Saturday in Fresno, a city in U.S. state of California, authorities said.
First responders "discovered a fixed wing single-engine airplane on fire atop the bluff of the San Joaquin River," said the Sheriff's Office in a statement, adding that "firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and prevent them from spreading onto the properties of nearby homes." ■
