BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Near Coast of Chiapas, Mexico at 1552 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 40.9 km, was initially determined to be at 14.62 degrees north latitude and 92.77 degrees west longitude. ■
