WASHINGTON, March 31 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the U.S. military will leave Iran in two or three weeks.
"We leave because there's no reason for us to do this," Trump told reporters at the White House.
In a phone interview with the New York Post on Tuesday afternoon, Trump also said the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran is likely to end soon, and that other countries can reopen the Strait of Hormuz without U.S. military support. ■
