WASHINGTON, March 9 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that he believes the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran is "very complete."
"I think the war is very complete, pretty much," Trump told CBS News, claiming the U.S. military operation against Iran is "very far ahead of schedule."
"They (Iran's forces) have no navy, no communications, they've got no air force. Their missiles are down to a scatter. Their drones are being blown up all over the place, including their manufacturing of drones. If you look, they have nothing left. There's nothing left in a military sense," Trump claimed.
The United States and Israel launched joint massive attacks on Iran on Feb. 28, killing Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with senior military commanders and civilians.
Iranians on Monday attended large gatherings across the country to pledge allegiance to the country's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
The participants vowed that they will never surrender to the "enemies," and stressed that the "enemies" have made miscalculations and will be defeated. ■
