RIYADH, March 3 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh released a security alert on Tuesday, warning of the threat of imminent missile and UAV attacks on the Saudi city of Dhahran.
The development comes amid sharply heightened tensions following a joint U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran on Saturday and subsequent retaliatory missile and drone launches by Tehran toward Israel and U.S. assets across the Middle East. ■
