5.2-magnitude quake hits Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge -- GFZ

BEIJING, March 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 1641 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 32.28 degrees north latitude and 42.02 degrees west longitude. ■
