BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Galapagos Islands Region at 1734 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 1.16 degrees north latitude and 90.73 degrees west longitude. ■
