BEIJING, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted 55 km ESE of Adak, Alaska at 1243 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 45.2 km, was initially determined to be at 51.65 degrees north latitude and 175.92 degrees west longitude.
