Blue Origin completes new human spaceflight mission

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- U.S. space technology company Blue Origin on Thursday completed a new human spaceflight mission.

The NS-38 mission lifted off at 10:26 a.m. Central Time from Launch Site One in West Texas aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket. After a flight lasting about 10 minutes, the capsule touched down at approximately 10:36 a.m. Central Time.

The six-member crew included Tim Drexler, Linda Edwards, Alain Fernandez, Alberto Gutierrez, Jim Hendren and Laura Stiles.

The mission marked Blue Origin's 17th human spaceflight and the 38th mission of the New Shepard program overall.
