BEIJING, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted the Gulf of Alaska at 2335 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 56.45 degrees north latitude and 148.74 degrees west longitude. ■
