PANAMA CITY, May 22 (Xinhua) -- The Civil Aeronautical Authority of Panama (AAC) announced Thursday the resumption of flights between Panama and Venezuela, after a 10-month suspension.
In a statement, the AAC said that the resumption of flights between the two countries will be carried out under "the principle of reciprocity."
"In addition, it should be noted that the reactivation of air operations will be carried out in accordance with the technical capacity of the operators of both countries," the statement added.
"The AAC supports commercial air transportation globally under an open skies policy and welcomes the resumption of flights between both nations, which will help strengthen global air connectivity," it said. ■
