NEW YORK, May 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 34 km SSW of Urakawa, Japan at 21:28:01 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 59.0 km, was initially determined to be at 41.90 degrees north latitude and 142.56 degrees east longitude. ■
