OTTAWA, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Canada's new federal cabinet will be sworn in Tuesday morning, said the office of the governor general on Friday.
According to an announcement of the office, Governor General Mary Simon will preside over the swearing-in ceremony at Rideau Hall.
The announcement followed last month's federal election in which Mark Carney led the Liberals to be re-elected as a minority government.
On March 14, Carney named a 23-member cabinet in addition to himself after winning the Liberal leadership. ■
